The Resilient Growth Programme

Defend the business you have while creating the business you may need next.

The Resilient Growth Programme combines both workshops into a broader strategic intervention. The first stage identifies what could undermine the existing business and where greater resilience is needed. The second explores how those same changes could create new markets, customer needs and growth opportunities.

The result

An integrated roadmap combining:

  • Stronger resilience under disruption.
  • Actions that improve preparedness now.
  • New opportunity areas and innovation experiments.
  • Longer-term options for adapting or reinventing the business.
  • Indicators that help management recognise when to act.
Stage 1 — Strategic resilience

A focused resilience workshop that stress-tests the current strategy against plausible disruptions, exposes vulnerabilities and dependencies, and identifies no-regret actions that strengthen the business before shocks arrive.

Stage 2 — Future-led innovation

A future-led innovation workshop that uses the same external forces to explore new customer needs, business models and growth platforms. The team generates, prioritises and shapes a portfolio of opportunities for experiments and longer-term initiatives.

From insight to action

These are not academic foresight exercises. Methods such as horizon scanning, STEEPLE analysis, scenario planning, stress-testing and backcasting are selected because they improve the quality of strategic decisions.

Each engagement is focused on the client's actual market, strategic questions and management priorities. A 30- or 60-day follow-up session can be included to review progress, assess emerging indicators and refine the next decisions.

Make uncertainty strategically useful.

You cannot predict every disruption. You can build a strategy that is better prepared to respond and a portfolio of opportunities designed for more than one possible future.
